The situation
Monkey Designer Agency (an Squarespace agency) reached out after things started getting out of control.
Not in a “business is failing” way—
In a “too many clients, not enough time” way.

They told me:
“I’ve got 3 projects waiting, 2 more coming in, and I’m already behind.”
What was actually going wrong
It wasn’t design.
It was everything after design:
Mobile looked off → had to fix it manually
Clients kept asking for “small changes”
Every site needed little tweaks that ate hours
Simple things were taking way too long

So even though they had demand…
they couldn’t move faster.
What we did (nothing fancy)
They didn’t hire us for a big project.
They sent a small task first:
Fix mobile spacing
Adjust sections
Clean up a few layout issues
We turned it around fast.
Then they sent another.
Then another.
Within a week, we were basically handling:
All the “fix this” tasks
All responsiveness issues
Ongoing client edits
What changed
This is the part that matters.
Not “we improved efficiency by 40%”…
But:
They stopped touching the annoying stuff
Projects started moving again
They took on 2 more clients (that they were going to reject)
Their delivery felt under control again
What they said
“I didn’t realize how much time I was wasting on small fixes until I stopped doing them.”
Why this works
Most Squarespace designers don’t need a full team.
They just need someone to:
Handle the backend
Fix things quickly
Not create more problems
That’s it.
If you’re in the same spot
If your projects are slowing down because of:
Endless edits
Mobile issues
Small fixes piling up
Send one task.
Don’t commit. Just test it.
